Tgtack 779 #1 Posted June 16, 2017 Anyone know if they allow campfires in the camping area at the show?
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,332 #2 Posted June 16, 2017 Yes they do. Bring your own wood as you will not find any in the trail in the woods.
rmaynard 15,530 #3 Posted June 16, 2017 You will also need a fire ring. We were told several years ago that fires are no longer allowed on the ground.
WHX?? 48,845 #4 Posted June 16, 2017 Forget the worry Tg...just introduce yourself to Brian (Buckrancher) and make some friends...I'm pretty sure he will have a nice fire to enjoy! You may have to put up with @squonk tho!

benji756 341 #6 Posted June 16, 2017 depending on how big you want it you can cut the center out of a old steel rim.

Zeek 2,286 #8 Posted June 17, 2017 I use a an old truck rim like this one. I have two. They sat outside for 25 years and never rust out, they are too thick. Plus you can stack them if you want. The only place I have seen fire rings used is in the wooded area where tents (and buckranchers rig) usually are. I have never seen one used where the campers park (where the power pedestals are), so make sure you pick the right location when you arrive if that is your plan.
