Brly 1 #1 Posted June 14, 2017 Hi Folks, I recently pulled my Grandfather's 1976 B100 8 Speed out of the barn and hauled it home. It was rough, but had been kept inside all the time. I've spent the last few weeks getting the tractor back to operating condition, which is a whole other story itself. It went well and was a lot of fun. Among many other implements and attachments, there is a mower deck. I would like to repair the deck so I can start mowing. I am under the impression it's a 42" deck, but I may be wrong. It's a side discharge. There's a tag on the back left side of the deck with "43062" on it. It's tough to read, but I'm fairly certain that's the number. I've looked through the manuals here and cant seem to figure out which one I need. I haven't found any information regarding the "43062" number. I've attached some pictures. Sorry about the parts laying on top. Appreciate any help. Thanks, Ben
Racinbob 11,042 #2 Posted June 14, 2017 This is most likely the deck you have.
Brly 1 #3 Posted June 15, 2017 Thanks Racinbob. I assumed that was the one. The deck must have cracked around the center spindle. A plate has been welded over the hole and new holes drilled. I have a feeling that didn't work. I'll probably cut that patch out and weld in a new plate the same thickness of the deck steel and drill new holes. Otherwise, I think the rest of the deck is ok. Hope the spindles are useable. I should be able to start working on it next week. Thanks again, Ben
