petes 150 #1 Posted May 21, 2017 Finally got the last part for my 318, now I can spit in Jack Frost's eye!! I found the blade on Craigslist. I had to take it to the local welding shop for some repairs and modification from Cat.1 to Cat.0 but it turned out well. I wanted to get some paint on the tractor and blower but, I'm getting a new knee fresh off the shelf not NOS next month so that will have to wait.

WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #3 Posted May 21, 2017 Those were some of the best JD had to offer, better than their replacements IMO, Good luck with it, Jeff.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #4 Posted May 22, 2017 Pete, looking good. If anyone knows GTs, the John Deere 318 has been considered to be one of the best L&G tractor ever made, turning brakes, power steering, dual hydraulics, heavy duty transmission, transmission cooler, Onan engine, very heavy duty frame, category 3 point hitch optional, a very heavy GT. About the only two better would be John Deere 322 and 332, which are 318s with better engines.
