Starting my 57 rj 35 resto. Will post as I go along. Gonna do a gas monkey garage time schedule to try to have it done in 3 weeks in time for mentone 😂. 

Will finish full disassembly tommarow morning

Got a few pieces down to bare steel tonight. Also had to put a new set screw in the pulley, it was missing. Old original cable was in great shape.

Primed this stuff yesterday, paint today. 

Love it when paint goes on like a mirror. 

5 coats split apart evenly

Couldn't wait til tommorw to see the hood. Had to check it out tonight before I went to bed. I'm pretty happy,  no runs and it's like a mirror. A nice wax and buff and I'm in business.

J.A., that hood turned out super sweet, looked great just being sanded down. Real nice job.

Small compressor with spray gun in quarts. but you can buy spray cans.

More parts down to bare steel. Prep and paint these Wednesday when I put the new stickers on the hood and do the lettering.
