I need help with ignition coil for 1956 Clinton

Hello.  My wife and I inherited this Wheel Horse from her late father.  It hasn't ran in years.  My back yard mechanic has been tinkering with it trying to get it to run.  I believe what we have is a 1956 RJ35.  I have attached pics of the part that we need to replace.  Any help in finding that part or an alternative set up would be greatly appreciated!
