Will a 12 hp Kohler Magnum horizontal motor out of a Cub Cadet model 1211 fit a Classic Wheel Horse without major modifications?

Looked at tractor data but they didn't show a spec # for the Kohler used on the 1211.  Most of the cubs ran the PTO off a hub bolted on the flywheel...that is easy to remove.  The issue would be the out put end of the crank.  It may not be long enough.  If you have spec # you can look up the crankshaft part #  see if it matches a WH  Magnum 12.     if not there is a chart here some where that show all the dimensions of all the Kohler crank shafts.

also make sure they have ball bearings on the crankshaft

It has the bolted on PTO off the flywheel but I can't see the other shaft in the picture.  I'll bet you are right!  It could very well not be long enough!  No reason for it!   Darn it...  Rebuilt and only $200!  Oh well...

Thank you!

I had a fire in 2019 which destroyed my pole barns and some wheel horse tractors and parts. i'm looking for someone who can use the engine that went thru the fire. It is not pristine but there must be some usable parts
please call George at 517-499-5678 for more info.

Husband wants some advice… lol.  So we did an engine swap today on two suburbans because we could not get the one engine to spark all the time to get it running!  The engine ran last year before parking for the winter sleep…. Points were changed out for new the engine was cleaned to make good contact has new spark plug new coil condenser we even switched out the fly wheel today thinking maybe the magnet was weak…. Advice???   It would where are you out yanking on the recoil five or so times and maybe only get the points to fire twice if you’re lucky..  checked the gap and pull again… same thing over and over!  Thanks in advance!
