314-H Bagger - Grass Catcher

Does any one know what all this will fit? I'm considering selling the tractor and putting the collector on something smaller but not sure how universal these things are - it is a wheel horse brand

I had that setup on my 312/512, I imagine it would fit front mule drive style tractors.

The crucial connections seems to be at the deck - do you happen to know if most side discharge decks from 300, 400, and 500 series tractors would line up?

Mine was a 42" deck, not sure if the 48" deck would be the same.

Do you mean to put it onto another Wheel Horse like a 310-8 or 308-8 (being something smaller) or another type like 200 series or MTD?  If just a smaller 300 series, then yes it would fit (assuming you use the same deck 42" SD)  But a 310 or 308 isn't physically smaller than a 314, just less HP.  If another series or brand, then you would likely need to make modifications for it to fit.

That kit, as you have it will only fit the deck you have (either a 42, or a 48). The double drive pulley that is on the RH deck spindle is a different part number (different size) for each deck and I think the belt cover bracket is different too.

In theory you could make it work by buying the correct double pulley, but it is still setup for classic series tractors with either a 42 or 48". If you venture away from that combination many parts may cross, but there will surely be differences in some of them.

THere are several parts that are attached to the deck that you will need to get off as well, including the triple bar balance bracket, the double drive pulley, a baffle bracket under the deck, and a bracket or two on top to mount the belt cover. Some units even had a counter balance weight on the opposite (left) side of the deck or a spring on the right side.
