1969 Electro restoration

Craigslist find. Started working on it yesterday 4-18-17. Planning to take it to Gettysburg show in June.

       Looks like a good complete , Take lots of pictures as you take it apart, they will be valuable when you go to put it back together. Looking forward to seeing it at the "Big Show" and meeting you.

If you have not noticed the ID plate is below the dash in the 2nd photo.

BHunter  Looks good. Needs a good cleaning to see where you are at = leaks. Polish up those moons. Enjoy the project.

Pulled motor, power washed, drained ATF fluid and sanded frame.

Woah.... steady down there Bhunter,  to RS, could l ask what model you have there, and are you going with AFT or hydraulic oil in the trans.

Thanks. I do enjoy this project. The moons are pretty rusted. The chrome is off in some spots

It is the 1969 electro 12. Model # 1-7245. Im going to put Wolf's head universal synthetic atf back in it. I use it in everything. Good stuff.

 OHHH        That is ok just lightly polish them. I have had a few this way still shine a little after.
