69 fury 11 #1 Posted April 11, 2017 i have a 1991 312h toro WH and when i went to install the 37'' deck i found a small old age crack in drive belt. the belt that was on it when i bought mower has 6 sides. i have deck manual and part # shows a standard V belt. went to Toro dealer in town that is what they gave me.so i guess either belt will work. i didn't get the V belt yet and am using mower with the 6 sided belt. works fine but want to change it before it breaks. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,032 #3 Posted April 11, 2017 You may want to download this page and have it next to you when you replace the belt. You should find all the pulleys are V-pulleys. 69 fury 11 #5 Posted April 11, 2017 thanks guys. real good info. i mowed today using the belt that was on mower.did a nice job. i will give TORO a call and see if they have belt in stock. one other question, do i have to hold forward &reverse lever as i am driving this WH? if i let go of lever it slows down and stops. got one hand on wheel and one on stick.
