UUUHHHMMM....There's this thing about green and yellow tractors on this site...you're gonna need to provide some kinda protective glasses for us if you keep showing pictures of that stuff...

Red, black and white are acceptable colors for tractors among refined WH gentlemen (and ladies)...

Just picked up this 417-8. Plan on tearing it down, cleaning it up, and painting it.

We all like to jab fun at green and yellow things...But it's all in fun...I myself have a JD 212 as well...And I must say for being green and yellow :ychain: that is a nice looking unit...Same goes for your Cub...I'm a fan of all brands, though :wh: has and will always be my favorite

That..... is a serious looking machine, a well matched up unit. Wonder if front spindles have been beefed up, and can anybody tell me why some loaders have the valve controls on the left?.... Is it an easier plumbing route?

Nice machine to have in the barn! :text-bravo:

Going to need tie rods, one of mine came apart today. Was wondering if anyone could recommend someone ?
Would settle for good used parts if available from someone. Dose anyone know the part numbers for my machine.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I've got a 48" dozer blade hooked up to my 417-8 and my driveway is 450 ft of asphalt. i'd like opinions on what type of skid shoes would work best on the pavement? I've had the blade for years now and have flipped over the flat bar edge to use the good side. The blade has the has the mounting holes for the shoes, but I'm just wanting opinions on what would work best in my situation. The factory shoes are a little on the expensive side, but if I get good opi nions about using those, I might go that route.

Hello all, I recently inherited a Wheel Horse 417-A from my Late Grand-Father. It has been leaking from the Oil Pressure Sensor and I can’t seem to find this particular sensor anywhere If you could give me some leads that would be great! The engine is a KT17 Series II it smokes right under the muffler coming from the sensor i would like to fix it as it has the mowing deck, 2 Tillers, snow plow/dozer, snow blower, and 2 cabs this tractor is very centimental to me and it runs amazing other than this little part!! Also if you could provide any information on this particular model that would be great! Thanks!

A short vid of my 312/417 in infrared. It's a FLIR one. Uses a smart phone, I have an old Note2. After looking at it I did notice the rear cylinder exhaust seemed to be running cooler. It will even show what wires are drawing more current and heating up
      Enjoy????

I have a 417-8 Horse that dropped a tie rod today.  The Wheel Horse parts manual calls for a #102592 for the RH rod and a #102593 for the LH rod. What is the newer (Toro) part #?  Also, from the pictures I've seen, the newer tie rod is fully adjustable.  If that is the case, am I correct in thinking that only one part number is needed for both sides? - Thanks
