The 1969 Charger 10 that I picked up this past winter is now back to work, equipped with a crane, winch, and quick-attach weight box.

Hey now, at least the blue engine works! It replaced a K181 that showed me it's best impression of a grenade.

Way cool!

Love the crane!

How about a close up pic or two of how it attaches to the tractor?

Unistrut is sort of a bigboy erector set! I have made lots of things with it, never thought of a crane for the :wh:.    :text-bravo:

Here it is.  The struts are attached to the hitch block by a Grade 8 hitch pin, and it is all held up by 5/16" steel cable. There are several 7/16" grade 8 bolts going through the struts for hanging the pulley for varying the height of the lift.  I can remove it by simply loosening the clamps on the steel cable, pulling the hitch pin, and disconnecting the winch from the battery.

How much have you been able to lift with it? Looks like it would be useful.

It's simply amazing how strong the transmissions are on these tractors.

Nice setup

I have used it to move some logs the size of the one in the picture.  I built it to lift the things that I should not be lifting, and my back thanks me!

That was my justification for buying a GT-14 with front end loader, the wife fell for it.   :ychain:

@Deadguy What motor are you using on the unit? I really like your lift.

It is just an electric start 7hp Honda clone.  It was running way too lean, so I rejetted it and changed out the air filter.  She runs much better now, though it now sounds a bit like a racing kart.
