cranman51 39 #1 Posted March 31, 2017 Greetings friends...I haven't posted in a while...but been lurking! I picked up yesterday a sweet 414-8 needing only a drive belt for the deck and a carburetor cleaning......$100! I got her purring and just waiting on the belt...I'll show her off once the weather breaks and I can take some pictures!

cranman51 39 #5 Posted March 31, 2017 Thanks Sparky...this is my second 414-8. Last year I was GIVEN one in much better shape....and it came with 36 in RD deck, snowblower and rototiller....my lucky day! I also have a 310-8 with 37 in SD deck and bagger, a 1973 Commando 8 and a 1973 8-8 with chains and snowplow. I'm thinking of thinning the herd, and will probably keep both 414's....but I love them all! The PO didn't get the bagger with it....but I have one on my 310-8 I'm going to swap.

cranman51 39 #9 Posted April 3, 2017 Well friends....the deck belt came in today for this girl...got her all ready to mow.... I had to take off the mule drive to free up the pulleys...but all good. One more time cleaning the carb. I tried her out on some high grass left over from last year, and she didn't miss a beat! a keeper for sure!
