can whlvr 993 #1 Posted March 23, 2017 I just picked up a 32 inch wheelhorse disc,i think a 7-1512,about a 74 year,does anyone know if the housing that the adjustment rod bolts to is cast iron,the eye for the rod is gone and I'm hoping to be able to weld to the hub,looks like it would be cast but I don't know,and does anyone know if the discs were painted blue,these look orig but its been outside and hard to tell,pics later this week Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ed Kennell 38,022 #3 Posted March 23, 2017 If it is cast, you should be able to see parting lines. Very seldom did WH grind them off. If you don't mind grinding a spot, cast iron gives a different spark than steel. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
