HamptonT 33 #1 Posted March 17, 2017 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the holes in the lower outside corners of my snow blade are for skid shoes. Anyone know where I might find some shoes for it? Thanks

953 nut 55,065 #3 Posted March 17, 2017 Wish I had a picture of it, but a friend years ago mounter a couple of bed frame legs on a snow plow and used bed casters, cheap (or free) to replace and he got a full season out of a pair of them.

I think this summer I'm going to pull the ones off my Ariens walk-behind and weld on a length of one of my old carbide ski runners from the sled . These things wear out waaay too fast .

570 Productions 51 #6 Posted March 18, 2017 Always Check Ebay and if no luck you probably could make those. I just wish my 1967 plow had the mounts for it. Hope this helps.
Tankman 3,518 #7 Posted March 19, 2017 I once picked up a used blade. Previous owner tacked a piece of angle on each end of the blade. Then installed a pair of these http://www.cabelas.com/product/Warn-Utility-Plow-Replacement-Skids/734191.uts?productVariantId=1642024&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=50012403&rid=20&gclid=CjwKEAjwtbPGBRDhoLaqn6HknWsSJABR-o5s85wg78HvRXLo93WHKqjKhNC08P-AWU_qj1MV-XS8KRoCk2rw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #8 Posted March 19, 2017 @Tankman, that's basically what is on my Economy blade I converted over for my Kioti, you can see them peeking out from under the cutting edge, Jeff.
