Tiller

Hello, I'm looking for a tiller for my 314-8. Are these as hard to come by as the mid-mount blade? Are they pretty standard as far as fitting other models? I found someone selling their tiller from a 520H, but I want to make sure there isn't something I'm missing. Asking price seems high, but I guess it's worth what someone will pay. How much were they new?

Any advice regarding what I should look for would be helpful.

Thanks.

Without knowing the tiller model # i can 't be certain but it should fit.  Just make sure you get the idler pulley assembly.  Also look closely at the tines make sure they are not worn.  if they come to point keep walking.  replacements are very pricey.

Get the model number of the tiller then look it up in the manuals section here.  Then you will know what parts you need to make sure he includes.

tillers can be hard to fin,d depending on where you live, where I live ive seen 2 in 10 years, and I bought em both,as far as unique to wheelhorse, pretty well only wheelhorse tillers go on,but that's not to say that a handy person cant make soething else fit,but it will take some fabbing skills, alot easier to get a wheelhorse tiller most tillers from 1974 and newer will fit, just different idler setups and belts
