RJ Hamner 1,011 #1 Posted March 11, 2017 Got bored waiting on a part for the Suburban to come back from the shop so....... I have a 68 Raider waiting to get restored ( I had to use it twice last year when the Cub, the everyday mower, was in the shop) so I brought the deck in for a cleanup. Took everything down to bare metal. Replaced the belts and a couple of other items. Unfortunately the Suburban part is still in the shop and the Miss's snagged me to put a new ceiling in the downstairs kitchen.

RJ Hamner 1,011 #5 Posted March 12, 2017 Yep Ran across them at Tractor Supply. Even found the two wheels there. They had grey rims but that was a quick fix.

Grandsons enjoy walkin' 'round TSC. I have been using the Huskee Kevlar belts for years. Usually, always for me anyway, on the shelf at TSC. Inexpensive too. I label, with a Magic Marker, the belt sleeve(s); i.e.: 42" Deck - Drive, 42" Deck - PTO, etc. Sleeves are staple gunned to the shop wall. I have quite a few gunned on the wall for quick reference. Easier to "remember". I was told the green belts are "oil resistant." Edited March 13, 2017 by Tankman
