pfrederi 17,895 #2 Posted March 9, 2017 Welcome. Most likely you will have to replace the axle seals. It is not a hard job. There is a pinned topic at the top of this page that has the part numbers for transmissions. I copied the part applicable to you . You have a 5086 tranny with 1" axles.. There are lots of thread here about replacing axle seals. Hardest part is getting the hubs off. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
WHX?? 49,190 #3 Posted March 9, 2017 Check the side to side play on the axles once you have it on jack stands. If there is any movement.
