I was starting to load the trailer this morning and I thought, why push the 401 up the ramp if I can get it running. The previous owner said it hadn't run for about three years, so I spent an hour or so cleaning the points and carburetor, draining the stale gas, and putting in a new plug, The 4 grandson come over on Wednesdays, and the 3 youngest took time from basketball to watch old grandpa work on the K91. Little did I know that my wife was also in the audience with my phone taking pictures.

 

 

And with that, success! Runs great, purrs like a kitten. 

She's also pretty handy with the video as well.

 

 

Looks like I'm going to be asking a little more for this one at the show.

NEW OEM Original 1961 Wheel Horse Hood Plug.      $17 each

 

 

NEW Replacement Rear Light for the 953 / 1054 model tractors. same size and with Correct Bee Hive Red Lens and is 12 volt

like the original, the difference the cap screws on for a secure fit and a ground wire attaches to the back. Limited Supply     $35  each

I will have some ORIGINAL Wheel Horse Rear Lights with me if you want the correct factory part.

 

 

 

Replacement Hydro Alum. Fan Part number 6108.  Limited number,    $15  each

 

 

HL-5 Headlights, I hope to bring about 5 sets of these, the light bracket is a repop.

The lights have been cleaned, new pigtails added when needed, working blubs and glass lens.

The condition of the lights varies so does the price.  $150 & up

I will have original correct light switches  $20  each

my light switch brackets are on back order at the moment I hope to have them before the show.

 

Replacement Two Piece Gas Tank Gaskets,    $15  each,  2 for $28,  3 for  $40    SHOW SPECIAL  !!

I guarantee that when these are installed as recommended they will not leak, if it EVERY does I will

replace it for FREE.

like to sell what's left of my kohler parts as a whole . I'm only keeping the carb parts . The rest is going as a whole there is about 3 -4 bins left a good amount and slot of good parts left .

I will have repro light kits for the 953/1054 or any other WH you want to bolt one to. I have a nice, brand new, jeweled light, or NOS originals. Also have brand new stamped steel mounting brackets with mounting hardware. 

- jeweled light with bracket and hardware: $40

- NOS light with bracket and hardware: $50

The 1267 is restored and in good condition $800

The rear rims and tires on the D tractor ag tread are holding air but do have dried cracks in the rubber $50 each rim and tire.

1964 704 Wheel Horse came from a one owner, has original paint (has been touched up), good running condition, the motor was replaced at one time it is a K181 not the original K161 asking $600.

I have the following that I could bring to the show if anyone is interested.

 

Kohler K161T, manual start, turns smooth owner states that it runs well, but carb (not pictured) could use a cleaning, no air filter assembly. $150 obo.

 

Older Tecumseh 7hp snow thrower engine. Manual start plus 120v ac electric start. Again owner stated runs good, turns smoothly, cleaned and repainted, have carb, original muffler, original engine mounted fuel tank with brackets (not pictured) $125 obo.

 

Tecumseh 7hp manual start, has internal damage, rotates 355 degrees either direction then "clunk". Good tins and recoil starter cover, recoil spring broke or disconnected. Includes carb and air cleaner. (Last two pictures, showing engine on tractor) $65.

 

Will bring to show if prepaid.

953 rims and tires. Rims are real clean and nice. Tires are checked and cracked. One is a bit worse off than the other. Both are tubed and hold air.
