RJ Hamner 1,007 #1 Posted March 4, 2017 This single bottom plow came with a tractor I bought. It looks different from the Wheel Horse plows that I have seen in some of the pictures here on Red Square So......is it a Wheel Horse? Another company's make? or maybe Homemade?? I will probably never use it but kinda curious all the same. Bob
stevasaurus 22,706 #2 Posted March 4, 2017 It is not a Wheel Horse. Actually, I think it is some what home made...at least the frame. If you notice, it has no adjustment.
RJ Hamner 1,007 #3 Posted March 4, 2017 It was the lack of an adjuster (not counting the extra bolt hole that you can't see in the picture) that had me wondering if it wasn't a "My Barn Model #1 - Made In The USA" Thanks for the conformation. Guess I will have to figure out how to make a "yard ornament" out of it. As heavy as it is I won't have to worry about it blowing away!
stevasaurus 22,706 #4 Posted March 4, 2017 Actually, knowing that plows go for up to $150, it is not impossible to make yours adjustable.
RJ Hamner 1,007 #5 Posted March 4, 2017 I had actually thought of looking for a turnbuckle and a couple of fittings but I REALLY don't need to plow anything because then I'd have to get a disc and fertilizer and seed AAAARRRRRGGGGG Guess I should get rid of it before the Miss's gets any ideas. My "honey do" list has more pages than the national budget as it is. Quick.......someone make me an offer!!!!

I have a small Wheel Horse slot hitch plow, and I agree with Steve....Home-made!

Let me know if and when you're in Desoto. I'm just about 25 miles south of there.
