If it was me that RV, that’s covered in snow, would be in sunny Florida with me by the pool. Dress warm, or have a heated cab. Florida = heat, cold= seat time. I don't like heat, and traffic.

Sarge 3,464 #181 Posted January 25, 2019 You folks up in that northern corner sure get some whacky weather, but then again, where I'm at is just as bad, if not worse. Around here its common to hear that if you don't like what we have at the moment, just wait 5 minutes, it will change drastically. Sarge 1

I believe the cab helped out a lot in that department vs the open seat on the plow rig, but yes the Onans are are bit louder than the Kohlers.
ericj 1,578 #189 Posted February 2, 2019 (edited) I have some onan's that are louder then others. I believe that the mufflers are half blown out. Most of my onans are fairly quiet. The 2 worst tractors are my 520-H that use for snow plowing and use with the 12" turn plow, and my new to me 520-8, that I've been using last several time to plow snow with. They are several decimal levels above the rest of my onans. They aren't load enough to warrant replacement yet though. Should probably start wearing hearing protection though. eric j Edited February 2, 2019 by ericj
