Difference in '66 and '67 Lawn Rangers

Hey All,

I have a '66 106 LR and a '67 157 LR that I recently pulled back from the jaws of thescrap pile.

Other than one being electric start.....they both look identical to me.

Anyone know of differences in the chassis or anything else?

I think they changed the belt guard.  on the 1966 there is a depressed area where the decal is.  in 67 it was all flat  (so the decal usually got ground off by the deck belt pulley)  At some point they went from 3 spoke to 2 spoke steering wheels but that may have been 65 -66

 

Edit  The 3 spoke steering was in 68  sorry
