Dan693 510 #1 Posted February 1, 2017 Hey All, I'm starting to restore a '67 Lawn Ranger and wondered if anyone has ever tried to reproduce a 2 spoke steering wheel. Mine has a 2 spoke but I'm pretty sure its not original. I like the original with exposed metal spokes and is deeper than the one on my LR currently. I did a little looking but didn't see where any available to buy. Mine right now......
953 nut 56,159 #2 Posted February 1, 2017 I see that it has a key way cut in the wheel, that would probably make it a GT-14 wheel, except they were three spoke. No nearly as nice as the original.
Terry M-(Moderator) 2,177 #3 Posted February 1, 2017 You are correct in saying that it is not an original steering wheel. 65-67 used the two exposed metal spokes that you spoke of. 68 Lawn rangers used an almost identical steering wheel as the 65-67 models except for that it had three spokes rather than two.

Sarge 3,464 #6 Posted February 7, 2017 The two spoke you have looks to be from a '65-'67 short frame , like a 876 model or something - not a lot of those left out there in one piece... Sarge
