Install roll pin in parking brake pawl...

Goodness! There's no place to get a roll pin punch in here.. how are you supposed to get this parking brake pin installed or removed, if you wanted to?

Hang on... there's a roll pin on the OUTSIDE of this too? Snap.. mine is the cast pawl that I've had welded up to repair. There's a roll pin that holds it onto the shaft inside the transmission. Lemme go look at this closer.

Mine are the bail style so i do not know about another pin but I would guess you install it then push the shaft through the case from the inside put the lever on and pin it on the outside

There was a bunch of dirt packed over top of the roll pin on THE OUTSIDE portion of the shaft and the PO had painted over top of that.. I didn't realize there was a roll pin out there too! I was trying to figure out how to drive the roll pin through the pawl from the INSIDE of the case! Hahah! I'm good now.
