pgiro 36 #1 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) Just thought I'd share a quick project I completed to add plow pads to my D-160 56" plow. I have an uneven dirt driveway to clear as part of my snow removal duties, so I wanted to add some plow pads to make it easier for the plow to float along the driveway. We had a couple pads kicking around from my son's Warn ATV plow that weren't being used but they were too small for the WH 56" plow. A quick trip to the hardware store for some 3/4" OD tubing and some coil springs gave me all parts.. Tubing is cut to 7.25" and the springs are approx. 3" long. Tubing fit right over the small ATV pads and a quick weld holds them in place. You may need to make adjustments in tubing and spring length depending on the height of your cutting edge but these sizes seemed to work with my new cutting edge. maxiblue 352 #2 Posted January 28, 2017 Hello great post, I needed to get a set made for my 56" plow for my D250. I was wondering what to use for the foot thanks for the information.
