rmaynard 15,383 #4 Posted January 21, 2017 Was it a confirmed tornado? We had some wind shear come through last year and did essentially the same thing.
953 nut 54,845 #5 Posted January 21, 2017 Jay, glad you and your home are OK, started to hit the like button for the pictures, but had second thoughts; don't like all that extra work.
JPWH 6,021 #6 Posted January 21, 2017 (edited) It was a confirmed tornado. I have minor damage compared to some. 1700 residents without power 3 or 4 lost homes and many many cars destroyed. Thankfully mostly woods in its path. Edited January 22, 2017 by Terry M Double post

ClassicTractorProfessor 5,312 #12 Posted January 23, 2017 Glad no one was hurt and that your property damage was minimal. Prayers for everyone who wasn't as fortunate. Don is right tornadoes are a bad deal, we have had plenty here in Oklahoma. When I was a member of the volunteer fire dept, I spent countless hours doing search and rescue following these storms. Seen and heard things I wouldn't wish on anyone. Stay safe in the cleanup process
JPWH 6,021 #13 Posted January 30, 2017 We had three tornados in our area. They said one hit then split into three two EF 1 and one EF 2. We got the EF 2. This is where it started. We started cleanup this weekend so I gave old faithful some exercise.
