Wheel color change for a 520H

Recommended Posts

Does anybody have a photo of a 300/400/500 series tractor with the wheels painted in the older style off-white color?  I'm thinking about doing this, but I can't really visualize how it would look.

No photos but it's been done

I think it makes the Red color Pop instead of the silver

I do just the opposite. The Linen Beige gets painted silver.  :D

I haven't tried it yet, but someone on here had a picture of using old decks of poker cards to mask off the tires.

The overlapping cards were slid under the rim edge    Looked like it should work .

That setup worked really well for me, haven't painted any tractor wheels that way but gave the wheels on a couple old trucks we had using the playing card trick.
