Recommended Posts

fast88pu

This is my new hitch that I had Tom the hitch guy custom fab up for me. It's strong adjustable and looks good. Can't wait to get it and install it. Thank you again Tom.

Did you have too lift the fender pan? That's the 520 wheels or customs? I was looking at 24x12-12 for the xi, thanks for answers,Jeff.

I lifted the fenders with 1"x 1" square stock and I made the wheels. I lifted them so the fender clearance looks factory

What size angle iron did you use for your wheelie bars? Also, how long were they? I really like the look.  The whole tractor looks great.

I think it was 1.5". I made 2 sets. One set was 23" long and are the straight ones. The other are 24" long and are bent slightly down.

Tom asked me to come over a few weeks a ago to get some more input on this hitch and I had to say it turned out great! I have his shop make all sorts of stuff for work and its amazing what he does for a living. If you have ever been to Toms home shop you will see things hanging from the ceiling ,all sorts of automotive parts that he made the prototype dies for pressing them out of flat steel. His work also makes splined axle shafts for several monster trucks you see on TV. Most of what they do is prototype parts for Nexteer automotive. Some very cool stufffor sure.he has helped me many times with things that are just not made. Tom is one great guy for sure.

Go to our vender section and look Rupprechts Welding and Fab "The Hitch Guys. He makes them for me. He is a top notch fabricator and does awesome work.

hitch and wb look good, I just ordered hitch from Tom.  What I need are the Length and adjustable info for the wheelie bars and wheels and how did you handle the cross piece for the Wheelie bars if you have any, Do not see them in the pics so they do not interfere with the hook?? Overall great setup!!

No cross bars. They are a total of 24" long with deck wheels on them.
