1964 1054 tractor hydraulics

Does anyone know whats wrong with hydraulics on my 1964 1054 tractor.   Wont go up or down. Hydraulics are in down position and wont come back up.  Pump is full of fluid and turning.  Any help please?

Broken belt? is the pump pulley loose? that's where I would start

@Shynon  Took the side cover off, belt good and pump turning.  Any other thoughts?

Ok this might be a silly question, is the pulley turning but not the pump shaft? I have to ask, next would be getting a pump and cylinder rebuild kit from @wheelhorseman1000 located in the vendors section. Must have a worn out pump or bad cylinder.

@Shynon I was using it an hour ago and it just failed.  I did check and both the shaft and the pulley are still turning.

In that case you might have to open it up you could have a broken gear inside

Thanks.  There is still a little down pressure it the hydraulic but there is no up pressure at all.  Is this congruent with a broken gear do you think?

, I think Lowell may be correct you may have a broken gear.

 You cannot buy a new pump but I would say at most you need is a different set of gears but you will not know until you take it apart -- I got new springs and seal kits and a few used parts.  Does your handle still return to center? I'm just wondering if you possibly have a broken spring and a piece of the broken spring got into a port that it shouldn't of

The spring is broken on the handle.  I will have to get out there to take it apart and see what is happening.  It is snowing here right now and I am aggravated so it may be a day or so before I get a chance to open it up.  Thank you very much for your help and I will get back to you in a few days.  Thanks

is it any chance  i could send it to you to get rebuilt and i will pay you for the job i had a small stroke 5 years ago and my hands dont  work as they use to

  Having Lowell do the job is a good choice.    

Hein Werner is still in business, but they don't  carry any parts for their 50+ year old pumps. The kits Lowell supplies are great, They were also used on early Bolens and Cub Cadets.

Lowell, @wheelhorseman1000 has everything you need. He also makes the hoses if you need them.    You may be better off taking him up on the offer to rebuild it for you.
