HuntzNSam 80 #1 Posted December 27, 2016 Hello, all. I spent years mowing & moving snow with my Dad's Wheel Horses in the 60's and 70's, and my wife and I finally acquired our own. I don't know why it took us so long. Our cars include a 60 Buick Invicta Flattop, and a 52 Chevy pickup daily driver, so the 856 fits right in. The machine should be familiar to many, a 1966 856 previously owned by Joe W9JAB. It looks as good today as it did in his original pics from 2009. We found it on the Classifieds here. It needs some cleaning, and a few fixes, but it's a great running survivor. The purchase even included his famous 'Black Sabbath' snow blower - it came with "A Bit of Finger". www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/14915-careful-this-horse-bites/ We are looking forward to our new horse. Thanks Chuck & Sally

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #7 Posted December 28, 2016 I guess this means Joe won't be placing enticing and interesting ad titles in the classified section. It looks like you got a good tractor.
Vinylguy 4,674 #8 Posted December 28, 2016 Welcome to RedSquare Chuck & Sally!! You are only a 2.5 hr. drive from me and 45 minutes from Stevasaurus up in Elgin. Great looking tractor you have there. My Dad had a 60 buick LeSabre 2 door hardtop but my brother smacked a telephone pole with it back in 1967. We dont have a large number of Illinois members but the ones we do are great and always willing to help.
