my 1277 will not move

Hi everyone I finally got my engine on my 1277 running but it barley moves forward or backwards it has a sundstrant rear I'm not sure if it needs or can b rebuilt help please thnx.

Tranny fluid level? Drive belt  and idler pulley OK? Motion control linkage moving engaging completely?

Kavint76  check the Manuals section these can be adjusted after you do what Craig said1st. Make small moves with this ok.

All of the above easy checks.    I think the tow valve on this Sundstrand is a well hidden hex head bolt on the top, left rear of the case. It must be turned in CW.

Make sure the keys in the input shaft and axles are in place and the input shaft and axles are not slipping in the pulley and hubs.

:text-yeahthat:     If you were able to push or tow the 1277 then it is most likely the towing valve having been opened.

When you go to tighten the tow valve, you just need to snug it...do not over tighten.it.  You need to open it to push or tow the horse.  :)
