Painting motor to match Body Paint color

Guys i see the motors Painted on you Tractors , are you using same paint on motor and tractor , or is there a heat Engine paint that matches the Paint your using

I used the same acrylic enamel on my tractor and engine. 2 medium coats on the block & 3 coats on the tins for the engine. The only place that the paint turned color on me was near the exhaust port, after I worked the engine hard. I think that even engine paint would eventually turn color in that area though.

Thanks i just didnt want to spend two hours cleaning it.  and then painting it , and run for a hour and the paint not hold .  im putting header paint on exhaust . and Black engine Paint on the tins . but i could not find any engine paint same color as what i was Painting the tractor . for the motor !m using international Red from A tractor supply store . same as im paint tractor

Ford red engine enamel is close to Rustoleum Regal Red color

I use Rustoleum High Temp. paint on all exhaust parts. 1 quart has lasted 2 years and I paint the woodstove with it. Never have had any problems with it other than it splatters alot! Dont brush it on near anything already pretty!!!

I see that some paint the cylinder fins, but I prefer to not insulate them and let em breathe. But for the block and tins I have used Rustoleum Regal Red with no problem.

Well I got it done .used same paint as I used on the fram .hope she holds up.
