The only place that the paint turned color on me was near the exhaust port, after I worked the engine hard. Notfishin 64 #3 Posted December 5, 2016 Thanks i just didnt want to spend two hours cleaning it. and then painting it , and run for a hour and the paint not hold . im putting header paint on exhaust . and Black engine Paint on the tins . but i could not find any engine paint same color as what i was Painting the tractor . for the motor !m using international Red from A tractor supply store . same as im paint tractor Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

hermitman 116 #5 Posted December 5, 2016 I use Rustoleum High Temp. paint on all exhaust parts. 1 quart has lasted 2 years and I paint the woodstove with it. Never have had any problems with it other than it splatters alot! Dont brush it on near anything already pretty!!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
