SPINJIM 1,981 #2 Posted December 2, 2016 Great job, and also a great way to get face time with your son. You should both be proud of it. Get your son to ride it in the 4th of July parade. Cooter from The Dukes would love it. What did the tractor start life as. At first, I thought a Lawn Ranger, but it looks like a different trans. What did the fenders come from? hermitman 116 #4 Posted December 3, 2016 started out as a CG7. Fenders are from a J.D. 70 lawn tractor my son widened 3" on each side. That was interesting! He welded up wheelie bars from some scrap 5/8" setting around and we put some tiny J.D. wheels on front with 1 1/2" spacers. Had a hard time finding big shorts for seat cover!!!! Imagine that in Ohio! I was faster than her though. lol. Cut the front shift pattern off J.D. seat frame and he welded an angle on it to fit. Take the flag staff off and seat will lift up as it should. Still has original 7 H.P. Tecumpseh on her. No fluids, we just push it around to show it off. How vane. I know.
