On the dash of my 875 wheel a matic i have an empty hole to the left of the steering wheel. Was that for a cigarette lighter?

Yes, most likely.

Many mid to late 60's tractors had cig lighters.

Our 875, GT-14 and Gilson S-14 all have factory cig lighters.....that still work!

Here's a picture of my 1076 dash with the cigarette lighter.  There is a cig. lighter on ebay right now for $24.  It is a WH receiver, but not the original WH lighter.   The all original ones do show up occasionally on ebay, and there are always a few a the Big Show in PA.   If you're not trying to restore your 875 to 'original', then a good hardware store, like Ace or True Value, should have metal plugs that fill the hole.

Gt4 nice looking tractor. That seat is hard is find. Hope it is in good shape. It is no big deal on the liter I may even have a extra one if needed. Have to look. Good luck with the 875.

Thanks, the seat is in good condition and for a tractor that was just forgot about sitting outside for years i was happy to get it going and now is very dependable.
