I have a snow blade on the 416-8 and it has the extra set of holes to move the rear mounting pin forward for the short frame tractors. I might put this blade on my 702. If you measure the outside of the channels of each blade frame, the "A" earlier and the later blade frame like you have there T-Mo they both measure about 14 1/4". The difference comes with the bracket. The older style bracket was made to catch the blade frame on the outside of the channels. The newer, long frame brackets catch the blade frame on the inside of the channels. The problem comes with the brake drum. The older 3 speed and 6 speed transmissions had the brake drum on the mushroom gear (the hole closest to the axle housing). The newer 4 speed and 8 speed transmissions have the brake drum on the cluster gear shaft (the next hole toward the front of the transmission). I have both kinds of snow blades, and both kinds of brackets, but I have not switched them around to see what works and what does not. You are going to have to check it out and let us know...the issue is getting the attach lever to lift up with nothing in the way...(brake drum). If you have enough room between the channels and the hair pins for the lift lever (on the outside of the channels)...it should work. T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #5 Posted December 5, 2016 I put the newer style axle bracket onto my 702 and it fits. But I don't have much of a lift, but I'm not sure where the lift point is on a 702 for the front blade. I do know it takes a longer lift link, but I cut a piece of chain and tried it with that, but I'm not sure if I'm mounting it in the right spot. Any help would be appreciated at this point. BTW, sorry for the yellow rims, but the ags where mounted on them, and I didn't want to put these dry rotted tires on the Wheel Horse rims.
