pfrederi 17,662 #1 Posted November 10, 2016 I am getting out of the changing implements business. This C120 (formerly C160) is now permanently married to a 50In midmount. added ag tires and weights she should do well at grading. and for the 2-3 hours use a year she should last a long time. The Elcectro 12 in the back ground will be permanent backup plow tractor.
JAinVA 4,619 #2 Posted November 10, 2016 (edited) That's the way to do it.Although most WH attachments are fairly simple to swap out I to would rather use them than keep changing them over.JAinVA Edited November 10, 2016 by JAinVA
Tankman 3,518 #3 Posted November 10, 2016 Old age starting to get me. An excellent excuse to have more Horses! 1 or 2 for mowin'. 2 for snow removal. 3 or 4 for grandsons; wagon rides, leaf sweeping, races, rolling the lawns. 2 automatics for granddaughters, mailbox runs and keeping tabs on the boys. Simple enough.

pfrederi 17,662 #5 Posted November 10, 2016 Most implements are not that hard to mount (sweepster being the biggest exception)...but as you get older moving them around to get into mounting position is getting harder and harder.
Forest Road 594 #6 Posted November 10, 2016 Wish I had the space to do the same. Implements are easy enough to move but a royal PIA.
DennisThornton 4,769 #7 Posted November 10, 2016 One implement per tractor is the new rule here. There are exceptions where possible. Now to build another building... Found another mid-mount. The usual $300 but it's still 6 hours round trip away. Maybe I'll just give in someday and go for a ride...
c-series don 8,663 #8 Posted November 14, 2016 Dennis, you know how I feel about one tractor for each implement!!! We keep having this conversation and we both agree......

We keep having this conversation and we both agree...... Absolutely! I can't imagine swapping a blower for a dozer blade every snow fall. Or a deck for a dozer blade every time I want to push or level some area. Or a mid mount either but darn it I hate to spend close to a day driving to grab one.
