Belt Cover Compatibility Lawn Ranger - 856

Can anyone tell me if the belt cover from a Lawn Ranger will work/is compatible with the 856? I need one for the 856 and found one for a Lawn Ranger for sale. Just curious... Thanks!

The only difference on the belt guards of the tractors you mention is the engine mounting tab.   Lawn ranger belt guard has a mounting tab that lines up with the mounting hole of the Tecumseh H/HH60 engine.   The engine mounting tab on the 856 belt guard is located so it will line up with the mounting hole on the Kohler K181 engine.    Very easy to modify one way or the other.
