That is a great looking job Tigman.Almost to pretty to use,almost.What did use on the inside?It looks like gloss black.Luck,JAinVA

 Actually JA that is the original finish. Just wiped it down with a shop rag and some methanol and it cleaned up pretty well. :handgestures-thumbupright: The original finish appears to be powder coat. 

Didn't want to get it to pretty, do want to use it. ;)

Unrelated to anything other than my memory of the scents of welding shop floors...:)

You are spot on about the "smell" of the shop and welding booth.:handgestures-thumbupright: Argon after TIG welding has a particular smell that hangs in your clothes it seems.
