:WRS:   Nice find, a 1958/59 RJ with a good hood, fenders and seat is getting hard to find; I would think that $200 to $250 would be a great price. If they want more point out that it hasn't got the correct engine, fuel tank, front tires and rims and the snow plow is a home made unit.  With that said, if none of those things bother you it looks like a real good buy. Be sure to let us know how you do.

Little RJ-58 someone was working on, huh?

Appears to be a bit modified along the way(chain drive, engine, fuel tank, front rims, plow).

Lots to work with there though...I'm thinking...$200-$250 would be my high offer.

Maybe that one would hurt me and I know I've got to get out more, more WH shows and "meet and greats" but I've only seen one RJ first hand and those ag tires AND a plow scream more than $200-$250 to me!  Good steering wheel and the hood is not chopped up?  Sell the engine for something?  I see better than $250.

So, how high would you go Dennis?

Well, I'm no expert, but I not only look at the item as a whole but it's individual parts.  Several folks I know have said GTs are worth more that way and I agree!  I'd rather buy a parts tractor than buy parts!

I'd gladly pay $100 just for the mounted ags!  And if the plow is original to that model surely it is worth the same?  I'm sure I could get $50 for the engine.  Is the remainder not worth something?

I see $300-$400 there.

But what does the prospective buyer want?  Parts?  A complete working tractor?  To restore it to original?  Gonna be very different costs for each goal!

Being chain drive it probably has a centrifugal clutch.

I really appreciate all the input guys! A wpnderful welcome to the site!! I seen it was chain drive thats my one concern. Yea he is asking way to much. I want an RJ so bad but i cant bring myself to pay $800 for a project mower. Once again guys i really appreciate it!!

Im still going to try and get it down around $200

$250-$300 tops.  Nice tractor, but missing too much of the original stuff.  Putting it back together would cost an arm and a leg.  If you like it as is and see the parts, $300.  If you plan to restore, keep the price down.

Yah the guy is on crack if he's asking that much, I just paid that for a fully restored one. Trouble is if he's started that high he'll probably not come down to what the other guys said which is right. Might be some good gears in that case???

BTW :WRS: Raider

Looking for the measurements for items #69 mounting bracket and #79 lifting rod. So that I could fabricate and be able to install on my RJ59. Any pics of the mounting bracket would be a big help.
