I disconnected my mower deck last night to replace the drive belt now I can't get it back on. I have the arm hooked in the slot but I can't figure out how to get the front latched on the hooks. I do not have a manual and there are spring loaded rods there. Does something need to be pulled out or pushed in to get it latched again?

these should help....  be CERTAIN that the FORK engages the rod #5  above it.

The fork being in proper position is the key.  It won't lock in unless it is in properly.  Keep in mind the actual position of the deck, how far forward or back (closer to rear tires) as the lift arm is in the slot, as this will greatly influence the amount of tension adjustment you will need to do on the mule drive (belt tension adjustment know in the pic).

Thanks for the info Dave. The hitch shaft fork was the part I knew nothing about. The deck is installed now. Much Appreciated.
