Berlin WI show

WHX??

We had this nice little show going on this past weekend. This was the first show ever by this club so attendance was small and the weather wasn't the best. Had a nice showing of horses there between Dan @achto & Josh @PeacemakerJack & myself.

Dan's rat rod had the most lookers... We all agreed it is the whitewalls that does the trick!

Some nice hit & miss engines...there's just something about stting at one of these shows and hearing these engines running in the backround!

WHX??

It sucks that the turnout was poor, I couldn't make the show on Sunday again but the weather was much nicer here so hopefully the turn out was better. Also hopefully this show grows as it's real close to home for a couple of us horse heads. Did get to meet some interesting other local horse collectors who are not members here. Also learned where there might be more :wh: hidden!   Dan feel free to throw some pics in!

Looks like a good time, even with a small crowd.  :)

Achto

Here are a few more pics.

This collection of MF belongs to my friend Jason, not bad for a collection he started this year.

This one is his most recent addition and my favorite of his collection.

The two year restoration of this Frick steam engine was done by Willy and his daughter. I was able to spend a little time running this engine on Sunday.

Willy used the Frick to put on a nice spark show for the spectators on Saturday night.

This scale model Oil Pull showed up on Sun.

This JD and loader have been in the same family since new.

The weather was a lot nicer on Sun. and I think there were more spectators as a result. Wish I would have gotten a pic of Jim @WHX8 skiing behind a lawn tractor on the wet grass. I will make sure to get that on film if it ever happens again.

WHX??

Can truthfully say I skied behind a tractor now! Was fun till that kid wanted to jump on and almost knock me over.......man those cubs can go fast! Gonna have to do it again for photo ops.

Glad the weather was better Sunday, pics are much nicer on a sunny day.  would have rather been there instead of working!

It's plow season and I had my uncle Roger (the metal fabricator) available to me on Saturday to do some work setting up my sons plow tractor. So, I didn't make it

to the show until mid afternoon but it was still fun for an inaugural show!  I brought dads Iron Horse out with the newly fabricated to plow...

Zach loved bed getting to see all the tractors small and...

BIG!  This one was a novelty but Zach couldn't stop talking about it!  Dan's Rat once again stole the show but it was cool to check out the size able collection of MG GT's.  Kudos to Dan and the rest of the crew for putting on a great show.  It's a ton of work and I thought it went very well considering Saturday's weather.

Now it's time to take my lumps---I'm usually the first one to have a camera or video handy to record something interesting or unusual! Well, I dropped the ball on recording Jim maiden voyage "Garden Tractor Sking"!  When Dan commented on it, I thought he was joking. Turns out he was serious!  Next thing I know, here is Dan up on those skis being pulled at about 10 mph (maybe more) behind a CC 682 with his brother driving! It was a sight to behold.  Next thing I know, there goes Jim on the skis.  Before I knew it was over and I had failed to document it! Sorry guys--next time I'll have the video camera roll:auto-dirtbike:ing
