GT 14 snow blower

Recommended Posts

I have a chance to pick up a nice GT 14 and have a question about snow blowers.I currently have a C 120 with a single stage blower.Could this blower be easily attached to the GT 14?

Thanks for any help or advice.

Not sure of model number, but I have a friend with a GT 14 and I believe that is a single stage snow thrower that he has on his currently.

Here's the one my friend has on his GT 14.

Back in the day the 6-6212 snowthrower fit most tractors but a completing package was also required to adapt it to the different models.

The GT-14 required this package

The other long frame tractors required this kit

Compare the parts to see the differences. Tractor frame width is likely one of them.

The C-Series models would have the front Attach-a-Matic which the GT-14 did not have.

I did a conversion thread on adding the more modern attach-a-matic brackets to the GT14.

Without the newer brackets the Newer era C-120 blower will not mount up to the GT14.

I see your in KY. If you were closer to upstate NY I would give you my GT14 blower and save you trouble of modifying your tractor.

Not hugely difficult but you need to gather the brackets and have mechanical aptitude.

I'm 10-15 minutes north and west of Saratoga Springs NY. Edge of Adirondacks.

Or...approximately 40-45 minutes drive from Albany
