JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,497 #1 Posted September 15, 2016 Does the 520-8 have a manual assist lift spring part Number? To assist with manually lifting that 60 inch deck, snowblower, Etc? I was going to buy one of Glen Petits lift assist springs, but he and I are not sure if it is the correct one for the task. I can't find out, how to find out. Does that make sense. MalMac 1,331 #6 Posted September 16, 2016 The only lift springs I know about are used on the snowblower snd tiller. The 60" deck really only gets lifted in the front, it stays for the most part on its wheels for traveling. I myself have never seen s 60 lifted all the way up. That's even with the hydros. Just lifting the front is enough. I had a 60 on one of my 520's and got rid of it. The deck was made extreamly well built and cut great. In my opinion it's just too much deck for the tractor. You can line up 520's with no decks on them and you will be able to tell which ones had them. 60's are hard on the tractors. Tractors that had 60" will show all kinds of wear. Even cracking the frames sometimes. Like I said, it's a great deck, just too much for the tractor in my opinion. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
