Chas520H 17 #1 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) I have a 520 H and getting ready to change hydro tranny fluid and was wondering? Manual says high quality 10 w 30 motor oil and not transmission fluid as I would have thought? Also is the hydraulic lift for the deck and attachments and hydro trans all one unit or do I need to service the lift unit separate as there is nothing in regards to this service in my manual which is the original manual from purchase? squonk 41,464 #2 Posted September 11, 2016 All 1 unit. Use Mobil 1 10w30 and a Napa 1410 filter. Remove 1 of the bolts on top of the trans that hold the rear lift cable tube on so the air can escape when filling. These hydros are a bear to get the air out at times. Fill slowly stop at the add line and run the tractor around some. Let it sit a day or so and top off slowly. If you fill it to the full line and there is still air trapped it can burp out qil when it gets hot and make a mess. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
