White River Valley Show -Elnora, Indiana Thursday September 8th, 2016

Pictures from today's trip to Elnora, Indiana and the White River Valley Antique Association Show. I was able to visit with my friend Jerry Spires of Bedford, Indiana. Jerry had his 1958 Woody RJ and a few other tractors displayed next to Henry Bullington's from Tenn.  Roger Parmley and I from Greencastle  drove down this am to see what was happening !

The Oliver and International Harvester Garden Tractors in the  first bunch of pictures were both made from Wheel Horse tractors by a guy from Ohio!

Jerry Spires.... name sounds very familiar. I wonder if he grew up near Needmore, and went to Needmore High School. If he did, I know him, though not well. I also went to Needmore until they closed the school in 1974, and consolidated the county schools into Bedford-North Lawrence.

Sure enough, the same Jerry Spires that I remembered from high school. Really did not remember me though, as there is 3 years difference in age.

 

Enjoyed talking to him, and looking at his tractors. He has done one fine job on them.
