73 D series pump parts

Recommended Posts

Danz77

I'm trying to help my uncle find a pump or parts for the pump in his 1973 wheelhorse D series Model 1-0610-8.

The hydrostatic pump is the 90-1137 and it needs a new shaft and shaft seal.

The parts I found when researching are :

Pump shaft - 200213

Pump shaft seal - 7877

Shaft snap ring- 83-3870

Also if possible :

Shaft bearing - 200214

Snap ring- 200215

Would like to rebuild it or if possible locate a working pump to replace it. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

LJ fluid power in MI. (269) 623-4150

He will have some of the Sundstrand parts, Wheel Horse unique ones probably not.  I think he has to machine the valve plate for the pump or motor i can't remember which and he didn't really want to do that when i contacted him a couple years ago.  Hold on when you find out the prices.  The bearings and seals are not a problem to get. I have numbers  when you get ready.  This is not a quickie project. The are some threads here about rebuilding the sundstrands.  If the pump is bad I can virtually promise the hydro motor will have issues also.

The one part that will solve the biggest issue is the shaft seal 7877. It leaks. Otherwise the rest can be delt with later.

CR 7474 single lip version CR 7475 Double lip (my preference)

Have you pulled the pump yet  is it the splines on the shaft that are bad?

Do you have the manual?
