Shynon 7,470 #1 Posted August 30, 2016 (edited) Welcome to the Machine Thought I would post up some recent modifications to The Machine prior to up coming plow season. After a good season of plowing last year it was time for some upgrades, not because what I had did not work, just wanted try to make it better. So I started with some new Firestone 16-6.5-8 tri ribs, and 23-10.5-12 23 degree bar tires, added an 1054 hy pump, with new seals and spring, welded cylinder rebuild with new hyd lines and lift cable and adjustable tie rods from @wheelhorseman1000. Also ordered up a 12" shear and moleboard from Brinly, and to hold the front end found an old cub that needed to be squashed for the weight on the from to hold all them ponies down. 5th( don't know how it moved it was 1st) picture is last years, all others are with modifications. Bring on plowing season. Edited August 30, 2016 by Shynon

DennisThornton 4,769 #14 Posted August 30, 2016 I try to always comment positively, and I did, "love the tires and weights", but if this post was expecting comments, I feel I must also agree that I don't like the yellow. The "IH" is ok, probably will confuse some, but the yellow...
Shynon 7,470 #15 Posted August 30, 2016 Just poking fun at a fellow plow buddy. He's a cub cadet owner. He saw it at Pioneer power and thought the cub should be out front, til I told him it was a crushed cub cadet, because that's all they are good for. The look I got next was worth the price of admission.
WHX?? 49,484 #16 Posted September 1, 2016 Too bad you weren't such a haul Tom. Plow day is tentatively set for Oct. 8th at the Parsons ranch. That rig would eat the dirt up in no time around here. I see your not running a coulter?
