Bolens1220 19 #1 Posted August 21, 2016 Hello everyone- Just bought my first Wheel Horse so thought I would introduce myself in case I have any questions. I've always been a Bolens guy but could not pass this tractor up. Is a MY2000 314-8 with only 160 original hours. I wanted a hydrostatic but could not find this clean. Paid a little more than I wanted, about $1,250. But think it was worth it for such a clean and well maintained machine. I hear these things are really solid machines. Thanks everyone, looking forward to spending more time here on the forum!

Wheel-N-It 2,969 #10 Posted August 22, 2016 You got a good deal. That tractor/mower combo was right around $4000 when new. It's just barely broken in. Enjoy

Bolens1220 19 #12 Posted August 22, 2016 Thanks everyone! Based on the comments I feel better about the price. Sometimes you find a diamond in the rough. The previous owner said it always had service by the Toro dealer every season. I had wanted to find a tiller for it but think it is too nice to get dirty, i'll keep using my Bolens for that! Ed Kennell 39,288 #13 Posted August 22, 2016 $1250.....that might buy a new deck, and you got a new 314-8 for free.

Bolens1220 19 #15 Posted August 22, 2016 Ha, true! I'll stop talking about that other "B" tractor I have. But anything is better than a John Deere! So looks like this thing has a 42 inch deck. Any chance I can still get some type of mulching attachment for the deck or did Toro not offer one? I currently mulch and it does a great job. I saw Toro made a smaller 38 inch? rear discharge deck. Would love to find one of those if someone still has old stock!
Bttatro 94 #16 Posted August 22, 2016 Very handsome machine you have there! I have one from the late 70's that is my weekly mower and snow blower when needed. You got your money's worth and then some.
