stevasaurus 22,883 #2 Posted August 10, 2016 You don't want to switch oils if possible. Hopefully, the oil is in there...if it is tan colored use 10w30...if it is red use the automatic trans fluid. If it is not reading on the dip stick, there should be a plug near the axle housing on the back...open that up and stick a straw down there. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

After you pull the straw out dab a couple drops on the back of your hand or something to see what color you get. Speaking from experience gas, oil, brake fluid, p/steering fluid, antifreeze and battery acid taste just awful if they get in your mouth......... 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I was going to say that the ATF usually clings more to the glass, has a hint of blackberry along with a slight taste of mushroom and finishes nicely. The aroma is that of elderberry.
