I got the whole clutch assembly off, now how do you get the outer electric plate off of that piece? The one wire pulled off and I need to get into that area and fix it, probably have to solder it. any ideas? Thanks

You can use the same bolt as used to take the Electric PTO off of the engine crankshaft.  Just thread it back into the center of the PTO, then slam the HEX end of the bolt onto a hard surface....like a cement floor.  The force will cause the electric wiring element to drop out of the PTO pulley assembly.  (This may take a few tries, but it always works and any other method will damage the outer pulley ring.)  The electric wiring unit gets stuck onto the inner bearing and this is the only way to get it apart.

Thanks Daveoman1966 it worked, banged it on the cement once and presto it came apart, now I have to see if I can get to the place where the wires are soldered on. Here are a few pics. Not sure what the material is that is glued around the field magnet?

I have opened up several electric PTOs they all have that sandy coating covering the coil.  None of them had wires (the coil) exposed like yours. (Note that is not the friction surface for the clutch itself.  Electric PTO have no friction surface just two pieces of steel pulled  together by the magnet)

Maybe something caused your coating to come off. Hope you find enough wire to do a solder job.

Check out this thread for more thoughts on Electric PTOs.  http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/62241-why-i-am-not-big-fan-of-electric-ptos/#comment-581970

I got it:happy-jumpeveryone: The short of this story is, I tried to solder the joint and because it was so close to the metal edge of the plate, all it would do is short out, So I found a small finishing nail clipped the head off, and drove it into the center of the flush wire about 1/4 in. then I hooked up the wires to a battery and presto it worked, then I mixed a non metallic liquid metal around the joint, and then soldered the wire ends to the nail, and then covered all with liquid tape and it is working.

Just as a note...  (1) The electric FIELD wiring component is the same for the 1" and 1 1/8" style PTO clutches.  That is, they are interchangeable for the Electric PTO shown in the images of this thread.    (2)...scrape away any loose 'sand' filler stuff and fill cavity with an epoxy of some sort.
